"retrain ur support workers"

About: Bassetlaw Hospital

my mother was admitted to ur hospital on 22 may during this time she started on atc moved to cc2 and ended up on ward b6 while i cannot thank the nurses and doctors etc on atc and c2 unit i am disgusted with what happened on my mothers final day on b6 and the attitude of one of ur support workers in particular and her reaction to my mum accidentally breaking one of ur plates describing to her colleague as she meaning my mother has broken a plate is this really the way ur staff are encouraged to speak to patients as a level 3 trained health worker myself i think not very disappointing as ive always defended bdgh and its staff

Thank you for your kind comments regarding the care you mother received on C2 and ATC at Bassetlaw Hospital. It's always great to hear when we are doing things well. However, as you would expect we are disappointed that what would have been a positive stay appears to have been tarnished by some behaviours on Ward B6. If you would like to contact the PALS office at the trust and provide some further details such as the member of staff's name, then we would be able to look into this further. Please contact our PALs Service on 0800 0288059.
