"Lack of information about after treatment."

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I had an angiogram performed at UHNS on Tuesday. Nowhere in the appointment letter, nor when I called the appointment secretary and asked about the procedure, nor at any point throughout the entire 9 hours I was in hospital, nor in the BHF booklet about angiograms I was provided with did it mention anywhere about needing 2-3 days off work afterwards. It was only just as the nurse was discharging me that one of her comments made me ask about going back to work and was told this. This is completely unhelpful and a fairly important oversight. Can someone please explain why no one thought to mention this important aspect of recovering from an angiogram?
