"Waiting Times at medical practice"

About: Greater Manchester Trafford General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I'm not complaining, but it's happened a few times that I haven't been able to get an appointment at the Davyhulme Medical centre. I've had to wait one to two weeks to see somebody. You can never get in on the day. By the time you do get an appointment, you're either better or you've had to go to the Health Centre. I've had to go to Trafford Health Centre a couple of times.

Thank goodness Trafford has got this Health Centre!

Thank you for your comment posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding appointment times at Davyhulme Medical Centre. Further to a patient survey conducted in early 2014 which highlighted the need for additional on the day appointments, we now operate an 'Urgent Surgery' at Davyhulme Medical Centre. Patients can attend with their urgent on the day problem between 10.30 - 11.30 each day and will be seen by a GP. Details of this and of our other surgeries can be found on our website at www.davyhulmemedicalcentre.co.uk. Once again, we would like to thank you for making us aware of this matter, and we hope that you will not encounter any further issues attending Davyhulme Medical Centre in the future.
