"Help and Information"

we recently visited CUH over a period of 3 weeks ,we could only visit at weekends and experienced varying degrees of service and care .we often found ourselves seeking information and advice from the lady at the reception desk in the main foyer .one conversation resulted in a very positive outcome for us .we had asked the staff on the ward if they would provide a bedside cabinet for my mother as she was having to store personal belongings on a chair ,a week later this was still the case .when we informed the member of staff on reception she made a phone call and 20 mins later a porter arrived on the ward with a bedside cabinet ! added to a few other issues resolved by this lady we really have come away with a very positive impression .she was kind ,caring ,pro active and is a real asset to this hospital .we hope she can be recognized for her welcoming and professional attitude.
