"still waiting"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

I came in for a 24 hour ecg on 17th April 2014 and an echo on the 22nd. Since then (6 weeks later) I still haven't received a reply. I contacted the doctors Secretary and asked her how much longer I would need to wait she said that she would ask about it and get back to me, she never did. My GP's Secretary contacted them and even then they wouldn't tell them how long I would have to wait. I'm getting increasingly anxious and just want to find out what's causing my problem and the waiting isn't helping.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience of our services. We are sorry to hear you have been waiting a while for you results and have been struggling to speak to someone and this has caused you to worry. It is difficult; however, to comment on your specific case without your own details but if you wished to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on free phone 0800 073 0510 we would happily look into the issues you have raised and see if we can help you further.
