At first i was unsure about the hospital as many people will be you are frightened to leave your family and be alone. When going into the center i was so scared but then i met my key nurse and she made me feel welcome and i was not scared of been there anymore, yes i missed my family but who doesn't, my stay at the newberry center made me the person i am today and i am happy with that person they are friendly welcoming staff, you will get the odd staff you will not get along with but not everyone gets along always, they try there best to assist you as much as they possibly can it is a great place to get well and i would recommend it, i went into the hospital when i was around 12-14 cant remember could of been later i am now 18 and feel much better, although it has been many years since i was in i know some nurses will still be there, i wish i could find the nurse who helped me the most to thank her but unfortunately no luck there. I would highly recommend this hospital for parents who want the best for the children.
