"disgusted"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

Me and my wife had a baby scan after the first one was unsuccessful due to the babies position. We walked in and started the scan and the nurse said we can see the 4 heart chambers but that was it. At least 5 minutes past without a single word from said sonographer so knowing that my wife was worried because we were not being told anything I asked politely is everything ok? The said nurse responded with "I can't tell you anything" which obviously did not help mine or my wifes worries (obviously) at least another 5 minutes of complete silence past, I then asked can you confirm sex of baby and I got a response of "no" by now I was getting quite adgetated so I asked can you tell us anything at all? The response I got was " no I need to concentrate" which I fully understand but her 10/15 minutes of pure silence was ridiculous. There was no talking us through what she was looking at/looking for which is completely different to any other scan we have had with this baby or when my wife was pregnant with our 10 month old. The said sonographer then started talking to me like I was completely out of order for asking if my unborn baby was ok. Me and my wife both thought this bedside manner was disgusting. Please anyone who has a scan booked at stoke mandeville please make sure you don't have same sonographer.
