"Treatment for Cellulitis"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

I was recently referred to FPH by my GP for cellulitis following an infected venous leg ulcer. I was initially seen in the Medical Assessment Unit, I was immediately made to feel welcome and as though I was an individual and not just another patient. All the staff in MAU I came into contact with were friendly and caring. I was later discharged from MAU and referred to G4 - Medical Day Unit, again a very busy department and admittedly waiting times have been a little on the long side, but understandable. The staff were all friendly and again I did not feel I was just another patient. I have had treatment (IV antibiotics) in the MDU and also from the Community Nursing Team visiting me at home and at my office. I just cannot fault the way I have been treated and dealt with, friendly; caring and professional - all the things that make the NHS such a special organisation

It was very kind of you to take the time to post your feedback. We are very pleased that you have found it to be of such a high standard and it is good to hear that the medical teams have been working so effectively together to get you well again. They will be very encouraged to read what you have say about them.
