"My gratitude knows no bounds"

About: Charing Cross Hospital / Neurosurgery Harmoni / NHS 111 NHS England London West Middlesex University Hospital / Accident and emergency West Middlesex University Hospital / Neurology

(as the patient),

I went to A and E at West Middlesex Hospital in early May after experiencing problems using my left arm and leg. I had previously seen my GP and a doctor via 111 who thought I had a trapped nerve.

Within the space of a few hours I received various scans at the hospital before being broken the news in the most sympathetic of fashions that I had a tumour which would most likely require surgery.

The care I received at West Middlesex Hospital from my admission to subsequent transfer to Charing Cross for my operation was outstanding. It was humbling meeting so many dedicated, supportive and caring individuals and my gratitude knows no bounds.
