"Booking In"

I was not allowed to book in for an examination of a badly injured ankle because I would not specify if I was unmarried, married, widowed or divorced and this, in my view, constitutes discrimination. My marital status or otherwise has absolutely no bearing on an assessment of an injury and does nothing to serve the patient. How will this be rectified? Susan Skott
