"The only thing I like was one ..."

About: Leeds General Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

The only thing I like was one nurse who I saw x2 in my whole 5 days I was admitted.

What could be improved

The doctors making more time to explain what has gone wrong and how or what they think is the best way to move forward with treatment.

Time it took for test results to come back, I had to wait a long time for the results to come back and when they did they were inconclusive, because they test had not been done within a certain time frame.

The nursing staff on nights, were not the warmest of people, I spent my 1st night on a trolley with a blanket as a pillow.

Anything else?

Yes, the doctor who tried to perform my lumber puncture completely didn't know what he was doing resulting in him trying x2 to get my spinal fluid; which failed and the supervising doctor finally took over the procedure. Since them i have endless back problems due to this procedure. And when all the results came back, the male doctor who explained to me the inconclusive result, he did mention there was another test the hospital could do but he the test took to long to set up and cost to much money, and said I was to be discharged with pain relief. And then walked away before I could ask any questions.
