"Review of walk in centre care"

I attended the walk in centre today - 24th May 2014 with my 11 year old daughter who i though had a throat infection. We saw a Nurse who was excellent. I work for the NHS health care service and I know how nice and well deserved an accolade is. They explained to my daughter what she had (tonsilitis) and took the time to draw it on the screen and explain it in a way that my daughter understood. They also asked my daughter if she had any questions or anything she did not understand. I totally understand that we were in an acute medical setting, and time is of the essence, but this nurse made us both feel like we had all the time in the world. I cannot praise them enough, and also my daughter commented that she was lovely. so - well done - you are a credit to your profession. :)
