I was admitted in April for a lumber spinal decompression, and have to say that i was treated with nothing short of compassion and respect at all times from the staff on the day unit to the porter who took me down the miles of corridor to the theatre, the anethetist and most of all my neurosurgeon, i spent 24 hrs on the high dependency unit and another 48 hrs on ward 10, where i was never made to feel a nuisance or that anything was too much trouble, and put my quick recovery down to the skill and treatment by your excellent staff.
