What I liked
consultant, who saw me was very nice and respectful.
What could be improved
attitude and communication.
Anything else?
I have to have termination of pregnancy for medical reasons therefore was reffered to communal genecology department.Attitude of nurses at the clinic was awful and rasist. At one point nurse who was filling up my paperwork asked me where i was from and when i said the name of the country she started shouting at me "where is it? you have to tell me where it is is it Poland ? Are you Polish?" etc In fact country i m from is Azerbaijan and it is not any where near Poland. At the end of the day what difference should it make where the patient is from, in my oppinion everyone should be treated equally with some degree of respect. There was no need for that sort of attitude just because i am a foreigner, especially when the nurse wasn't from england herself.
Afterwards when the appointment was finally booked consultant told me to think about my options and if i change my mind about having medical termination or surgucal to call to the clinic and it will be rearranged for another dates around about the same time. ever since I was on the phone to the clinic for 3 days and each time I had the same responce "somebody will call you back shortly". And up untill now i havent heared anything back. Having to terminate pregnancy is awful enough as it is, for anyone especially for me and my husband. In fact it is devastating, because we already have two lovely kids. I would have thought that stuff in this sort of clinics will be a bit more considerate to people's feelings and show a bit more respect towards the patients.
