What I liked

All the staff that dealt with me were competent and friendly.

What could be improved

I was shocked at the condition of the whole hospital site. I thought the building work was just for improvements, but obviously it must be a complete rebuild. The car parks and roads were very tight and spaces were few. Once inside the women's health centre the area was very dated and cramped, run down. Not really dirty but not overly clean either. By the time I'd come out of my scan to sit down again to wait for a blood test the small waiting room was full, with no were to sit and not really any room to stand without being in the way, it was a bit like a cattle market and I couldn't wait to get out. Although I haven't seen the maternity wards yet this has seriously put me off coming here to give birth. A hospital birth is my last choice, I just hope I have an easy pregnancy and can have a home birth.

Hurry up with the new build and knock the old one down asap.
