"How wonderful the nurses at the Blood Clinic at Chorley Hospital were."

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

(as the patient),

I attended the Blood Clinic today and I was absolutely dreading it. I am 63 and throughout my life I have had severe problems giving blood samples and had some traumatic experiences. It was only when I started going to Chorley Hospital for blood tests fifteen years ago that one of the nurses, Pat Burrows, could take my blood without problems. I knew that Pat had retired since my last blood tests so I was very nervous and shaking when I went into the clinic. I needn’t have been. Diane and Sue were the calmest, most caring nurses it is possible to have. Diane obtained my blood sample effortlessly which was like a miracle for me. I cannot thank both nurses enough, they were wonderful.
