"Received the best ever treatment for breast cancer"

About: Manor Hospital / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

I have had such a brilliant service from everyone who seen me for my breast cancer, the service I received was amazing. From being diagnosed with cancer right through my operation and so far my recovery the staff have been excellent. I loved the ward 23 staff there helped me and nothing was too much trouble especially Annie who was the first nurse I saw on ward and I was a little nervous but by the time she left all that was gone.

I hope I never have to go in again but if I do that is the ward I would like to go on just 100% FANTASTIC. The Breast care team have been so supportive and helped me through a very sad time always there at the end of a phone giving you hope.

All of the people I saw before getting diagnosed was kind caring understanding I couldn't wish for better staff. I was lucky enough to meet both Mr Diggins and Mr Brookes and they are both very good. They give all the information about your cancer and always explain everything so that you know what will happen. Mr Brookes did my operation and he has made a very nice job of my scar and it has healed well. I cannot thank him and his team of surgeons enough for giving me such a good chance of beating cancer.

I am about to start chemotherapy and if the staff are as good as the staff I have seen so far I know that I will be on the way to a really good recovery. Please Thank everyone so much. I appreciate all that you have all done for me and I could never repay the debt I owe to you all.

Like I said all the staff deserve to be praised for such good service. It maybe just their jobs but they go the extra mile to make sure a full recovery is archived.Too many people go on how bad things are at this hospital and it may be for some but nobody tells of all the good things the hospital does.
