"Willow Ward (children's)"

My 3 year old daughter was admitted to Willow Ward via children's A & E as she had an insect bite from the garden that had swollen quite badley. They treated her immediately and she was kept in for 4 days with intravenous antibiotices. Although she had two very brief stays on the ward previously for a chest infection and a febral convulsion due to tonsilitis she thoroughly enjoyed her stay this time. The staff were great and the facilities for children wonderful with outdoor play, a play room, games and craft session she made friends and didnt want to leave. Happy to say that we now donate toys and books to the ward that looked after my daughter so well, knowing they will be put to good use.
