About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

There are so many people doing nothing but sitting around filling forms thinking they know everything without any really good knowledge its frightening. In the 48 hrs i was in there everything was a battle . What the specialists said didnt seem to matter if the nurses thought better. T he alarm buttons where hardly ever answered and left many people distressed and angry but would not complain in case there treatment was not done properly. The night shift was run by worse nurses who i am sure they were not qualified who just sat and talked all night with alarms not answered , infusion and bladderwash bags empty, urine bags so full they were nearly bursting. OMG What a relief when i left the next day; I am not ungratefull for the medical attention but i am disgusted by the state of affairs going on in our only hospital.
