"Xray 6 weeks ago... Still waiting"

I had a pelvic xray 6 weeks ago and was assured by the staff at the time that it would take around a week for the results to be returned to my GP. Now over 6 weeks later and despite the GP being told twice that the results would be faxed across that day, the xray still hasn't made it across. How such a simple task can take so long now is beyond me! On top of this, when I actually went for the xray I had to strip down to my underwear on my bottom half in a small changing area, put a backless gown on and then walk down the corridor past others waiting for xray, carrying all of my clothes. Not really very appropriate or thought through by the staff. Overall, a bad experience and getting worse by the day.
