After my experience on Phoenix Ward last July, when I underwent an op. for prostate removal, I swore I would never enter Medway Hospital again. However, I had to come back for an orthopaedic op. on my spine on Thursday, 20 March 2014, and it was a totally different experience. I was on Pembroke Ward, level 5, and the nursing and auxiliary staff could not have been more helpful. Not once in my two days' stay did I have to remind them that I needed something done. On the previous occasion the food was unsightly and inedible and my wife had to bring me in food parcels: this time, however, the meals were well-presented and the staff made sure that everything was to hand. Medical care was prompt and faultless. I would like to congratulate Medway Hospital on the vast improvement since my last visit.
"Is this the same hospital?"
