"Visit to A&E with heart problem"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

While driving on the M6 I had what I now know as palpitations (missing a beat every 4-5 beats) and decided I had better go to A&E as I did not know whether this was serious or not. I was quickly admitted to "see and treat" and was very impressed with the nursing staff and doctors' responses, attitude and the treatment I received. I was impressed that they took blood samples and sent them for analysis while I waited and although I had to wait 2 hours for the results to come back, this was only to be expected. Well done A&E and thank you.
