What I liked
I underwent an operation for a slipped disc in Sept 2008. The hospital staff were both sympathetic and efficient and the procedure went smoothly.
Aftercare has also been excellent so far.
In addition, this hospital monitors and treats my MS. These aspects are less intensively addressed but help remains available.
What could be improved
Some of the pre-op tests were repeated when I was admitted: this seemed unnecessary and intrustive at that time.
Anything else?
Waiting time within a hospital is a given and has been for many years. To me, it makes sense to be grateful that we have a free service and not whinge about its' being under finiancial pressure - we all experience this.
