"Audiology"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

I should like to report the kindness, consideration and professionalism of the staff who have been dealing with my deafness and hearing aids, especially one person who has put in a lot of time. The drop-in system is particularly helpful, as it avoids the perennial problems of actually contacting anyone at MRI by telephone. It means patients can work with the system without becoming bogged down in bureaucracy. The advice given is clear and helpful, and there is friendly support. All the people I saw treat you as an intelligent person and give you choices about your care. It seems to me a model of how the NHS should work.

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding your care in January 2014. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to hear that you thought the Audiology staff were able to give you the level of quality of care you expected. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the Audiology department and the staff involved.
