"The techniques have really worked for me"

I felt I was starting to lose control of worrying. Big relief when I was given support from IM. Hannah was really friendly, made me feel at ease and such a good listener.

The homework was really important and made me reflect on exactly what my worries were. The techniques have really worked for me and I now feel I am more prepared to be realistic about worries.

My first thought now is ‘what’s the worst that can happen, and does it matter? ’ I realised a lot of the time my worries were hypothetical, and the practical ones were easy to solve.

I can think of lots of other people who need CBT, just to deal with low level stress and anxiety in everyday life.

Worrying a lot can be extremely distressing and it is great to hear that you have found the techniques you learnt through therapy helpful in enabling you to cope with your worries.
