I have only been to the hospital twice for day surgery but both times have been a really positive experience. The hospital is small with a real "team" vibe about it. The staff were amazingly friendly and I was treated promptly The treatment was explained clearly and I really felt the staff cared. I appreciate the Scunthorpe hospital is much larger but it really could learn from Goole. Although I am thankful that my treatment was not invasive or serious I wish Id had the major surgery I had last year at Goole. The hospital is clean and all the staff I encountered both medical and administration had a sense of humour and pleasant confident attitude. I hope I never need major surgery again but if I do then I hope it's at Goole.
