"Appalling service"

About: Southport & Formby District General Hospital

The NHS service is not free thousands like myself have paid in for over 40 years. I attended A&E late morning on 17th April following a bad fall. I was transferred from Bangor hospital as I live in this area. My X rays were sent over night 16th April. Did Southport hospital move quickly on this, no I was 8 hours waiting having been admitted at one point and discharged. No action no CT scan I was asked to return on Saturday morning for scan. As it was Easter Sunday next day no one to view scan. I was put on nil by mouth twice and twice cancelled. Six days later I was referred to Liverpool Royal because a consultant was finally available to view my scans. I have attended three hospitals during this unfortunate accident Bangor, Southport and Liverpool Royal Hospitals. How poorly we are serviced by Southport. 5 stars. Bangor. 0 stars Southport 5 stars Liverpool. The nursing staff at Southport are in desperate need of training they have the ability to completely ignore people in pain, desperate for a drink and some of that compassion that they signed up for. Please don't respond with that sickly messages" thank you for your............" Do something you are a disgrace.
