"Shame about the rude doctors"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

Most of the staff on the maternity ward are absolutely lovely. It's a shame then that all I remember after the birth of my last baby is a kind doctor telling me it was best I didn't go home that night in case I 'put him in a corner and forgot about him'. Perhaps I look like a gaping idiot after I've given birth and I do have three older children but really? That's a little bit rude. Obviously it was far better that I stayed the night unable to sleep and completely ignored. A lovely midwife helped me to escape in the morning, for which I am very grateful.
