I went to this hospital extremely anxious about my surgery and worried about it for weeks about my procedure and anaesthetic as I was under a general , straight away all the nursing staff were very understanding and talked things through with me to keep me calm , the anaesthetist was excellent at listening to my concerns about the anaesthetic and put my mind at ease , my consultant has been great and left me in no discomfort after surgery and has been supportive with my treatment - would definitely recommend !

It is lovely to read the comments about ward 9 at the Alexandra Hospital. We work hard as a team and that includes nursing staff, doctors consultants and anaesthetists and as you describe you had a very good experience when you came to ward 9 recently for surgery.
