"Disappointing experience and treatment"

About: Spire Roding Hospital

After a lot of research I went to spire roding to have a septoplasty performed. On the day of admission for surgery my nurse was rushing all preparations because they did not have enough staff available. I mean it might be a routine procedure for them so they do not mind getting it wrong every now and then but for me it was the first time having a surgery of this sort and the last thing I want is being rushed which made me feel even more anxious and fearful. I was then handed some paperwork to sign by the surgeon who was nice but I felt like I was signing the paperwork on gunpoint because I did not feel at ease and felt enormous pressure. After I came out of surgery I was locked after by a different nurse. The nurse bought me some fruit to eat. As I just had a septoplasty my entire nose and mouth area was numb so I did not wanted to eat a apple and asked her whether I could have grapes instead. The nurse had some nerve to tell me that I only had a septoplasty. At this point I just wanted her to understand the pain I was going through and then I would offer her an apple to eat. I was devastated by the experience. The staff during my assessment and my surgeon were nice but the nurses on the day of surgery were a nightmare. Never ever again will I go to spire roding. On a side note even though the surgeon was nice my septoplasty was messed up so I will have to go through revision surgery to fix the abnormalities caused by the surgeon.
