I have been coming to the ENT department for over two years now, initially to treat an Ear infection and secondly to clean ear wax and maintain good ear health. I've had problems with wax/infections before, and generally was recommended syringing the ear. This can be quite dangerous for ear drums and is uncomfortable anyway. The ENT nurse at this hospital is great! He's looked after me very well over the course of two years to treat and maintain good ear health, especially after a very uncomfortable ear infection including cleaning wax. His method is much safer and quicker - he uses a thin tube to suck out ear wax. No need for using syringes/putting ear drops 2 weeks in advance. I've had regular checkups there and am very happy with the ENT nurse. Recommended.
