"Social abuse questioning over chicken pox &..."

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

My daughter complained of a sore rash so I took her the walk in clinic on 26th March. 3 doctors diagnosed spots and rash as thrush. The last Dr in paediatrics ethical and professional standards were sub par. The Dr without consulting the father went straight into social abuse based questioning - asking the young girl who I was, who lived at home, how long I had been at home and who lived next door. Then proceeded to exam body for marks. Almost no time was spent examining rash of feedback I'd provide to 2 previous doctors. Prescription medicine was issued for thrush. As a male and father I have never experienced such a humiliating and unprofessional experience by the paediatric Dr. My wife and I worked out that evening my daughter had chicken pox and by the next morning her body was riddled with spot. I emailed hospital with a complaint on 11th April and today the 30th April have not been contacted by the hospital. What's amazing is that 3 doctors misdiagnosed the chicken pox and the child's parents worked it was chicken pox by reviewing symptoms on NHS website. http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Chickenpox/Pages/Diagnosis.aspx http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Chickenpox/Pages/Symptoms.aspx Sadly an exceptionally awful experience on this day. These doctors and in particular the last doctor should be held accountable to apologise and meet with their senior managers father of this girl. Also explain how wrong they and what actions are in place to prevent this happening to another father in these circumstances
