Waited a month to see the self referral physiotherapist at Peckwater Health Centre. They did not seem to have a clue how to treat it. Referred me to the exercise sheet I was sent when I rang to make an appointment. It did not appear they had seen it before. I told them some of the exercises were completely impossible with the level of restriction I have. I think this is a waste of NHS money and my time. It felt like they were there to slow access to anyone who was skilled. If I bothered to go back, it would be at least 3 months before I got to see someone else more qualified. So I shall go back to my brother in-law in France who is getting good results from simple clearly explained exercises that are improving his shoulder dramatically?
