"Overnight admission"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

I went to A&E on the Sunday morning and was only there 10 mins before being seen to by nice triage nurse, twenty mins later I was seen by a very helpful doctor who kept we well informed he sent orthopaedic doctors and told me to wait in waiting room. He then called my husband and I back about 40 mins later and was very apologetic for our wait and informed us we shouldn't have two long to wait. Orthopaedic nurse arrived examined me and informed us I would have to be admitted onto a ward. Every member of staff we came into contact with from receptionists, porters, nurses, doctors etc were very friendly and kept us well informed. On he ward although the nurses were busy nothing was to much bother for them and made me feel like I was the only person they were interested in. I have the upmost praise and admiration for all the staff and the queen Elizabeth and would recommend it to anyone thank you so much for making my stay so pleasant. .
