Treatment in A&E very good. Nursing staff on ward A3 left a great deal to be desired. Elderly ladies were bullied and harassed for wetting the bed in the.night. Another lady was left crying and begging for help all night and during the following day, saying she wanted to die because of the pain she was in. When I asked a member of staff why nothing was being done she just said that was very confused.full commodes were left in the ward all night. I arrived on the ward during a Saturday afternoon and did.not get washed until I went home on Sunday. I left rather than stay another moment in such an unhappy and uncaring place.this is not the first experience my family have had, my husband having spent 3weeks there, during this time he was infected with c.dif. To be honest had I not needed help I would have refused to go there. I know members of the medical profession who believe this hospital is beyond help. This is a tragedy and a travesty of what the nursing profession can and should offer
