"Excellent treatment at Mid-Kent Treatment Centre"

About: Mid Kent NHS Treatment Centre

(as the patient),

I just wanted to say thank you to the staff at the Mid-Kent Treatment Centre at Maidstone Hospital.

I had to have a colposcopy just before Christmas and was very stressed and upset at the prospect. The 2 doctors and 2 nurses couldn't have been more supportive and made the whole thing a lot less traumatic for me. I want to thank them for being so kind, caring and patient and for them to know that the way they deal with patients is much appreciated!

Response from NHS West Kent

Thank you for your comments on services in your area. NHS West Kent, your Primary Care Trust has set up an initiative, The Health Network to let you have more say in how services are provided locally. Becoming a member means you can learn about the Primary Care Trust and the wider NHS, share and discuss your experiences of healthcare, give suggestions for improving services and have a chance to debate local issues about patient and public involvement. The Health Network gives members the opportunity to join review groups which comment on PCT strategies, policies and literature or simply sign up for information updates. Members can put in as little or as much time as they like; and may have the opportunity to work with doctors, nurses, therapists and planners in the early stages of planning new services and in fields in which they have a particular interest.
