"Husband on excruciating pain"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

My husband was taken in today at 3.30. He has received several doses of morfine and a diagnosis of muscle spasm in his back.To see a grown man cry and practically beg for help was distressing enough. He was moved to ward 14 at 7.30 I left him at 9.30 still crying in pain and I have just phoned now at 11.40 to ask why the doctor has not yet been to see him and my response was (this is the nhs what do you want me to say)?!
