"A&E and ambulance crew are amazing"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

I have had 2 recent trips into bmth hospital for same pain. On both occasions the ambulance crew were very good. My first visit to the A&E dept wasn't great as I was Very strongly told off for disturbing a doctor in an area when confidential patient info was on a screen. ( reality was the doctor asked me to walk over to look at an xray and didn't correct the nurse who had left her pc unlocked showing patient info when she frog marched me back to my cubicle...doc then whispered to me that she didn't realise he had called me over) getting told off when you are in pain wasn't great. 2nd visit however was awesome and mostly due to the most amazing nurse who was kind patient and uber efficient both with patients and colleagues alike.

Dear Anonymous Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and I am sorry to hear that you have been suffering from pain that has required two visits to the hospital. It is unfortunate that your first visit was not very positive and I will pass on your comments to the lead nurse to be raised with her staff. I thank you for noting how much better your second visit was and that we attained the standards we aspire to. I hope that your pain has now been treated and you are feeling better. Kind regards Sue Mellor Head of Patient Engagement
