"Chest Clinic"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I was given an appointment almost three months after going to my local G.P. It was my first time in attending the hospital and did as was requested in my appointment letter by self-checking in, or attempting to. The machine informed me that there was not an appointment made for that day which was a little disconcerting. I made my way to the Chest Clinic and waited, and waited. Eventually I was taken to have health checks breathing etc. and again waited and waited. Over an hour after my appointment time I was called in to see as I thought Professor only to be told that he had gone and another Doctor was seeing me. I found the whole experience frustrating to say the least and would love to know what was the emergency that stopped me from seeing the person I was appointed to see. No explanation was given me.
