A terrible service. The number given to call in the letter they send you is wrong. It just rings and rings and nobody answers. I finally called the hospital switchboard who put me through to another number and they said the number in the letter is incorrect. Take my advice and call the switchboard and ask to be put through to outpatients and don't call 01727 897360 which is the number they give you in the letter. When I finally spoke to someone, she told me the first available appointment was 2 months away. The doctor had told me to come back in 2 months and that was two and a half months ago! Useless booking service.

I have shared your feedback with our outpatient appointments team and I have asked them to ensure that the correct number is on the letters. I am unable to comment on the time it will take for you to be seen as I would need more information about your referral. As such, I would like to suggest that you contact our patient advice and liaison service (PALS).
