"Gynae Outpatients"

I recently got referred to to the Gynae team by my GP, and was extremely impressed. I was referred on the 7th May ( having seen my own GP after 5pm on the Friday), and had a phone call on the same date from the booking department offering me an appointment on the 14th. Every one I have come into contact as been very professional, from the person on the end of the phone when I made my appointment. The reception staff who greeted me with a smile. the doctor who was very professional, ensured that my dignity was maintained, explained everything, allowed me to feel part of the decisions. The Sister and nurses in the department. The two Clinical Nurse specialists. Another member of staff who booked my surgery and pre-admission clinic visit, and the very nice chap who took my blood in the phlebotomy department who was polite, kind despite huge pressure. and of course another thank you to the unseen but equally professional staff in the histology department who dealt with my biopsy sample I was scared and felt very comforted by the kindness and respect shown to me by everyone Thank you Broomfield Hospital
