"Disappointed."

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

A friend of mine, after losing the feeling her legs, passing out from extreme pain in her head and throwing up, was taken to the JR. I was called to come and sit and wait with her to make sure she was okay. As I arrived, she informed me she had been told to leave as this is 'not what they're here for.' So, two questions... Should we have had to wait until she passed out again before we went into A&E? Seeing as the little girl who went in ahead of her practically skipped in to see the triage nurse, I'm guessing this isn't the case. Secondly, what exactly are you there for? She was ill, quite scared and in need of help. I'm absolutely disgusted by the way she was treated. Will not recommend this hospital to anyone in the future.
