"6 hours without pain relief or consultation"

Arrived in A & E who after waiting on a urine smelling bed, transferred me to a ward. Thereafter for the next 6 hours I received no pain relief or explanation as to why I was experiencing abdominal pain. On asking for pain relief the nurse advised that the treatment hadn't been added to my record so they were powerless. Eventually I self discharged as the duty doctor failed to turn up and getting a comfortable nights sleep would have proven impossible with the noise the nurses made.
