"Norfolk ward"

I was referred here for an emergency drainage of an abscess. I had already been referred to Truro hospital for the same procedure two months earlier. The team on Norfolk ward, and the anaesthesia team down in theatre, were all superb. I felt very well cared for and very safe. I was frightened of having a general anaesthetic, but everybody made the whole day so easy for me. Postoperative pain management was well conducted, and the staff weren't patronising or bossy in the least.
