"A superb environment for surgical care and..."

I was in hospital on the 14th April for a myomectomy. This is a major operation with all risks associated with open surgery, requiring exemplary cleanliness and care standards to prevent infection and DVTs. I would recommend this hospital as an ideal environment to have this operation based on the excellent healthcare, patient staff ratio (there are only 47 beds and at least 1 staff member for 2-3 patients) and availability of medicines, physiotherapy, and room comfort (single rooms with ensuite shower and toilet, TV, Wifi etc plus a call button which is answered immediately). Having experience with many NHS establishments, - the contrasts here are apparent. Staff can administer IV injections and procedures (such as taking blood) with minimal or no pain and any nausea or pain is dealt with immediately. I believe that this excellent treatment is actually extremely cost effective as the time for recovery is reduced to a minimum. I was able to have the operation as an NHS choose and book patient with a minimal waiting time so I would have to thoroughly recommend this hospital on all levels.
