"A terrible ordeal with tooth extraction at Wonford"

(as the patient),

I was admitted as an outpatient at Wonford to have a tooth extraction because my dentist felt that the tooth lay too close to the sinus nerve for her to perform the task.

The whole ordeal left me wondering why I had not paid for private treatment, it was so bad. A rude, insensitive dental nurse, who very abruptly informed my husband that even though I was in an abject state of terror, he could not stay with me. (The manner in which we were spoken to left the entire waiting room disgusted.) A dentist who took 40 minutes of rough pulling to extract the tooth and through the entire procedure did not speak two words to me despite my obvious anxiety. I was treated with a lack of concern and the treatment was harsh.

I was treated roughly and in the manner one would expect from an underfunded, impoverished third world nation, not a 21st century British hospital.

This is just a brief note, I can go into detail.
