"Yet another day of totally inept administration at..."

Review on behalf of my father who at the age of 85 has to travel over 50 miles to get to this hospital on his own, having not had food or drink from 06.30 till 17.00 when he is finally told that his operation cannot be performed and he will have to go home and return another day. This is the second time in just over a month this has happened to my father at this hospital. This time the hospital kindly offered to pay his parking fee of £12.50 for the hospital car park. Do they have any idea of the prolonged pain, worry and stress of waiting for an operation?
