"After cardiac stress test I needed ..."

About: Grantham & District Hospital

(as the patient),

Anything else?

After cardiac stress test I needed to ask the Doctor a question about a recommended angiogaphy. I was given an appointment 24 Dec at 4.30pm (in 7 weeks time). Does nobody consider patient circumstances? Senior citizen with heart condition, driving from out of town (from Sleaford) at 4 or 5pm in the dark on Christmas Eve when the roads will likely be filled with people going home after office parties etc. I called for another appt and was given one 11 Feb at 4pm. When I mentioned I couldn't drive at night I was told "only afternoon clinic". I told her to cancel the request for an appointment. IT IS DISGRACEFUL that I couldn't simply ask the doctor a question over the telephone (I explained that's all I wanted to do) and had/have to wait 4 months to actually see him.

Absolutley NO consideration and I am disgusted to be quite frank.

MERRY XMAS!!
