"Superb treatment"

I`ve just had a hip replacement op at Fairfield & my treatment couldn`t have been better. The pre-op appointments at the hospital and with the Occupational Therapist were efficiently arranged and I was given lots of useful information on the operation itself, what to bring to hopital, aftercare etc so i felt fully informed on what to expect. My admission and operation went well ( the epidural didn`t numb me sufficiently and the op team smoothly switched to a general anaesthetic) and the operation scar looks neat and pencil thin. I was very well looked after by the nursing staff (ward 9 / Male) who were always on the alert - the man in the bed adjacent to mine had a crisis in the middle of the night when his blood pressure suddenly dropped & the nurses were there in seconds, closely followed by two doctors, and he was rapidly stabilised. Throughout my stay :- pre-op, during the op and post-op I felt i was in caring, competent hands and I can definitely recommend Fairfield for a hip replacement op
