What I liked
I was treated so well during my operational procedure. I could not fault the care offered to me by a nurse when I fainted from a blood test after fasting all night. I was treated with dignity throughout and I would recommend Central Middlesex to anyone.
What could be improved
I was given an incorrect name tag twice, and I had a drip attached to me which I held for awhile before anyone noticed. The blood was running back into it and I had a damp patch on my trousers.
Anything else?
The staff are all friendly but seem very overstretched. The nurse I dealt with for the blood test had to manage two departments and deal with a consultant's questions whilst trying to take blood from me.
Some of the nurses in ACAD where a bit brusque but considering how many patients they have to see in a day is it any wonder.
After care was tremendous from everyone.
